November 2025 Development Updates #1
This month at Reclaim Protocol, a major upgrade to our Developer Tool (Devtool), an important Android verification update ahead of Google Play Instant’s deprecation, and a proud moment as we’re named “Startup of the Year” at the Loyalty & Awards Summit in Amsterdam.
⏳ Important Update: Upcoming Changes to Android Verification Flow (Effective November 2025)
We’d like to inform you about an important update to the Reclaim Protocol Android verification flow. Starting the week of November 4, 2025, first-time Android users will be redirected to the Google Play Store to install the Reclaim app before proceeding with verification.
This change is necessary as Google Play Instant will be discontinued in December 2025. You can read more about this update on our blog.
We’d like to collaborate with you on a phase-wise rollout of this new flow based on your team’s preferences. Please note that our hard deadline for migration is November 15, 2025.
To help your team prepare, we’ve attached a demo video showcasing the updated flow.
If you’d like to discuss implementation details or align on the rollout roadmap, feel free to schedule a call with our engineering lead here.
🚀 Introducing the New Reclaim Developer Tool
Build, verify, and deploy trusted data proofs faster than ever
Last month, we rolled out our brand-new architecture and this month, we’re proud to announce a major upgrade to our Developer Tool (Devtool) - a complete environment for developers to integrate verifiable data proofs into their applications with unprecedented speed and flexibility.
Developers can now choose from over 21,000 community-built providers, making it easier than ever to add data verification without building from scratch.
🧩 Build Custom Providers from Scratch
In the latest podcast episode, our engineer showcases how simple it is to create your own provider, demonstrated through a live Kaggle example.
Developers can:
Capture and analyze real network requests to identify data endpoints.
Use AI-assisted suggestions or manual configuration to extract the exact JSON or XML fields they need.
Configure dynamic URL parameters, metadata, and login flows to support user-specific data.
Add JavaScript automation injections to streamline user navigation and verification steps.
🧠 Smarter, AI-Assisted Workflows
The new Devtool uses AI assistance to guide developers through complex configuration steps, from suggesting API paths to validating response data - making provider creation drastically faster, even for non-engineers with a basic understanding of web requests and JSON structures.
⚙️ Advanced Configuration & Versioning
To ensure accuracy and reliability, the Devtool allows:
Geolocation and user-agent customization to mimic real user conditions.
Provider versioning (major, minor, patch) for safe updates and rollbacks.
Version locking in production, protecting applications from unexpected changes when community providers are updated.
🧰 Debugging, Logs, and Insights
A brand-new debugging dashboard gives full visibility into integration performance. Developers can now view detailed session logs, identify root causes of verification failures, and even receive AI-powered fix suggestions for broken paths or configuration errors.
🌍 Multi-Platform Integration
Once providers are built, they can be integrated across multiple environments via Reclaim SDKs including web, iOS, Android, Flutter, and blockchain-based applications. A unified application dashboard lets teams monitor all integrations, metrics, and proof-generation activity in real time.
The new Devtool marks a major step toward a community-driven, scalable verification ecosystem.
By empowering developers to build and share providers, Reclaim transforms how trusted data moves across the internet, making verifiable user information instantly accessible, private, and secure.
